| Business Systems Liaison, VP Business Coordination & Project Promotion The Business Coordination & Project Promotion (BCPP) Team member acts as a bridge between the Business and Information Technology areas. The BCPP Team member is responsible to assist Business areas and Business Line Technology Coordinators with their IT requests. These requests may be related to maintenance and/or modifications of existing systems, initiatives for the implementation of new systems and problem resolution. He/she is responsible for clarifying business requirements, providing consultation for alternative solutions, participating in various project phases in accordance with the PLC RACI Chart, coordinating inter-team activities, participating in issues resolution determination and facilitating meetings between Business and IT. He/she will prepare management reports and /or examination responses as required. He/she will have an overall knowledge base of the applications and business requirements within the Bank. He/she should advise junior staff on BCPP team about direction, issue resolution and so on. He/she should be abreast of banking trends and the latest system technology as well as a base knowledge of the Bank’s business & IT Strategy. Job Purpose
Essential Functions 1. Conduct preliminary study for new IT related projects. 2. Perform interviews with users and other information gathering activities for project requests. 3. Explain User requirements to IT for resource estimation. 4. Assist project teams in coordination of activities for inter-department projects. 5. Review and facilitate the preparation of Business Requirements Documents and User Acceptance Test Plans within System Development Projects. 6. Participate and coordinate within Command Center for system outage and processing errors. 7. Prepare periodical reviews on progress of the department-wide projects. 8. Review user’s urgent requirements for resolution determination. 9. Work as a liaison between Users and Project Teams. 10. Provide guidance to junior BCPP staff 11. Prepare management presentations and respond to information requests from regulatory agencies. Inform senior executives of any known risk within his department or any other segment of the Bank. Experience/Abilities: Business/System Analyst (Bank and Market area etc) Experience in Banking Application System Implementation Communication skills with IT and business people Education: College Degree or a combination of High School Diploma and equivalent experience
